What does the Fitlates Academy programme include?
Fitlates Academy offers Slovakia’s only Comprehensive programme designed to prepare candidates for the NPCP examination. The curriculum spans the full spectrum of pilates apparatus and matwork across 520 hours, meeting the NPCP’s requirements for practice, study, and supervised teaching hours.
What the programme covers:
▸ Matwork & all Apparatus — Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrels and more. A complete, unabridged curriculum.
▸ Anatomy & biomechanics — the theoretical foundation that distinguishes a genuine specialist from a fitness instructor.
▸ Teaching methodology — session structure, cueing, and adaptations for diverse client populations.
▸ Supervised practice hours — a mandatory NPCP requirement, conducted under the guidance of an experienced faculty member.
▸ NPCP examination preparation — the programme is structured to directly address the competencies assessed in the certification exam.
▸ English-language instruction — all study materials are in English, as the NPCP certification examinations are conducted in English. Exam preparation is an integral part of the programme.
