About the programme

Preparing for the NPCP examinations

The National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP) is an internationally recognised certifying organisation accredited by the NCCA — one of the most prestigious Pilates credentials in the world.

NPCP-PMC

Pilates Mat Certification

Certification for instructors specialising in mat-based Pilates. Final examination: 100 questions, 2.5 hours.

 NCPT

Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher

Comprehensive certification covering the full Pilates system. Final examination: 125 questions, 3 hours.
All NPCP examinations are conducted exclusively in English. We recognise Mat or Reformer certifications obtained at other schools — however, the NPCP final examination must be successfully completed to receive the NPCP credential.

Programme structure

Two levels, one pathway

The Mat Course forms the foundation of the Comprehensive Course. You may begin with Mat certification and continue towards full NCPT certification at a later stage.

Foundation certification

Mat Course

Minimum age 18 years. Once a monthly payment has been made, no refunds are issued for that period.
If needed, students may complete the programme in the following year, provided Fitlates Akadémia continues to offer the training.
