Teacher Training Overview
Fitlates Akademia has paired with Pilates Education Institute to offer a comprehensive Pilates certificate training program for those who wish to strengthen their practice and become teachers. Our unique program provides trainees the tools they need to become qualified trainers both privately and in the classroom.
You can choose between the Mat Course and the Comprehensive Course. The Pilates Mat is part of the Comprehensive Course.
If you are interested only in the Mat Certification, you must complete the Anatomy, Pre-Pilates, Magic Circle, and Mat. You will also work on case studies and complete final exam preparation for the National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP-PMC) – https://nationalpilatescertificationprogram.org.
In Comprehensive Course, you will learn everything about Pilates, from Mat exercises to the Cadillac/Trapeze Table. We will cover the fundamentals of teaching, develop your skills, and guide you through anatomy studies, preparatory exercises, mat exercises, and exercises with the Magic Circle, Reformer, Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, and Cadillac/Trapeze Table. You will also work on case studies and complete final exam preparation for the National Pilates Certification Program (NCPT) – https://nationalpilatescertificationprogram.org.
All parts of the Comprehensive course can be taken separately, but to receive the Comprehensive or Mat certification, it is necessary to complete all asked parts.
The requirements for completing the course are a minimum age of 18 and payment of the fee.

In-house hours: 4 hours per week learning and practicing new exercises with the Pilates educators included.
To register for the Comprehensive course, it is necessary to register for each part separately.

Payment in installments
There are 9 payments per month starting in August 2026 for Comprehensive Course and 4 payments per month startin in August for Mat Course. This is valid only if you are registered for whole course.
Once a payment has been made that month for training there are no refunds. Please note that if needed, students can complete the program the following year as long as Fitlates Akademia holds the training.
